Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered to conduct the re-examination within six months. Finally after a long wait, the schedule for re-examination was announced. UP Police Re Exam Date 2024

Written examination for direct recruitment of constables on 60,244 posts in Uttar Pradesh will be conducted in five days from August 23. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board announced to conduct the examination on 23, 24, 25 and 30, 31 August. There has been a gap in the examination due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The examination will be conducted in two shifts every day. 5 lakh candidates will appear in every shift.

UP Police Re Exam Date 2024 Rules

The Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024 has been notified by the government on July 1 to prevent unfair means in public examinations, such as leaking of question papers, tampering with answer sheets, etc.

• There is a provision in this that using unfair means in the examination, copying or causing it, impersonating the question paper or disclosing it or conspiring to disclose it etc. fall in the category of crime, which is punishable. In such cases, both a fine of up to Rs 1 crore and a punishment up to life imprisonment can be imposed.
• Last time 48,17,442 candidates had applied. 43,13,611 had given the exam. Those who filled the admit card of previous examination will be able to appear in the examination this time. Candidates will get a new admit card with the name of the examination centre.

Free bus travel for candidates

To avail the benefit, candidates will have to download two additional copies of their admit card. One copy will have to be shown to the bus conductor for traveling to the district from the examination center and the other copy will have to be shown to the bus conductor for traveling to your district after the examination.
